Email Failed to Send
Why Your Emails Are Not Sending & How to Fix It
Email sending failures can be frustrating, especially when you need to deliver important messages. This issue can happen due to several common reasons related to connectivity, settings, or server problems.
One of the most common causes is a poor or unstable internet connection. If your device is not properly connected, the email may fail to send or remain stuck in the outbox.
Incorrect SMTP (outgoing mail server) settings can also prevent emails from being sent. If the server address, port, username, or password is wrong, the email service will not allow outgoing messages.
Another reason could be large attachments. Emails with large files may exceed the allowed size limit and fail to send. Additionally, if your email account is temporarily blocked, suspended, or flagged for unusual activity, sending emails may be restricted.
Sometimes, the issue may be on the server side. Temporary outages or high traffic on the email provider’s servers can delay or block outgoing emails.
How to Fix Email Sending Issues
- Check your internet connection
- Verify SMTP server settings
- Reduce attachment file size
- Check your outbox for stuck emails
- Re-login to your email account
- Disable VPN or firewall temporarily (if blocking emails)
If the issue continues, contact your email provider’s support team to resolve the problem quickly.
